Not all tallow is created equal — and not all rendering methods are either. The difference between dry and wet rendering isn't just technique. It's the difference between tallow that's truly alive and tallow that's merely clean.

Dry rendering is our specialty and our preference. It's the method that preserves what makes tallow remarkable in the first place — the fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins, collagen, glycine, and other compounds that your body actually uses. Heat and water destroy these. Dry rendering doesn't. If you want the most nutrient-intact tallow available, you want dry rendered. We're the best at it.

We also wet render. Some customers want an odorless product and aren't as focused on maximum nutrient retention — wet rendering delivers that. We do it well. But it's not what we built our reputation on, and it's not what sets us apart. Our premium line is dry rendered, and that's what makes it premium.

What we've built here took years of refinement, and the specifics of how we do it stay with us. What we can tell you is that we hold ourselves to standards most renderers simply don't — and we never use chemicals to bleach, deodorize, or alter what nature produced.
